For the past year, I've been trying to incorporate some of the concepts of minimalism into my life. This all started when I began watching Marie Kondo's show on Netflix. I realized a lot of my sense of feeling overwhelmed came from the stuff I had.
My first step was to start by getting rid of things. I did one major clean out of things over my Winter Break last year. Then roughly each week or every other week is to go through my things and see what I can get rid of. Slowly, I've learned what I can let go of. My biggest issue has been that I have too many things that I give value, especially when it comes to my clothing and crafting... and kitchen things... and books. (So basically everything I know 😅) So far it has been working. Instead of furiously letting go quickly, I've been working my way through things.
